Why Britain joined Europe

This brief clip from the old British TV series "Yes Minister" gives a sharp insight into British motivation for participation in Europe. While it shouldn't be taken as representing the ICC's analysis of the situation it does shed a humourous and not completely inaccurate on the relationship of the British ruling class to the "European idea".
