ICC online public meeting

20 years ago students across France responded to the government introducing the CPE - First Employment Contract - a major attack on job prospects for students leaving university. The students responded massively, organising in general assemblies to debate how to take the struggle forward, and seeking to extend the movement to the employed sectors of the working class, to the point where the government had to withdraw the CPE. This meeting is aimed at discussing the many lessons this movement can provide to today's struggles against austerity and unemployment.
