someone is trying to convince me that this is a live issue... i mean obviously there are dangers with the ideological history of fascism / nazism, but i've never heard anyone say anything explicitly anti-semetic, except a crazy guy who's half jewish. i've heard stuff about muslims, anti-immigrant, and so on, but never anything anti-semetic.
so, is it?
if so, then how has it changed since the holocaust?
IF it is still live (and i'm not saying it is) then how has the psychological makeup of the anti-semite, changed? i would HAZARD that globalization would've shifted the topic away from racial purity, to racial difference (they're not white... they're too much like us but not assimilating... excuse the hasty generalizations, i'm trying to just invert the nazi) and paranoia (the jewish aggressor). but of course this is absurd - right?
