Informative Report

A very informative report from the Comrade. It is striking how closely the events detailed here parallel the dynamic of the West Virginia teachers strike in the US. From the initial outburst of shop floor militancy that took many, perhaps even the workers themselves, by surprise, to the attempts to resist a union "sell-out," and finally a tentative settlement in which major issues are deferred for study to some expert committee, leaving the possibility of renewed attacks and further mobilizations a very real possibility.
